Back at the beginning of February, when Angie and Gary booked us to photograph their wedding at the newly built Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall next year, we couldn't resist and wait till the summer but rushed immediately to do our first recon. It was a very cold and bright day, just perfect for the winter wedding they were going to have at the Hall an hour later, hence the reason we weren't allowed to spend more than 10 minutes around (fair enough, we wouldn't want other photographers to be in our way).

We were immediately taken aback by the new  Woodlands "heaven", which was still under development but even so - very peaceful and beautiful. We can't imagine how beautiful it will look in the summer when it's all finished and full of tree foliage and colour.

The Hall's beauty speaks for itself, however we do strongly recommend the Woodlands - if not for a wedding, maybe for a weekend of tranquility.
